Jazz Jam is a monthly event at the Centre for Carnival Arts right in the heart of town where local Talent has the opportunity to jam with some of the best Jazz artists the UK has to offer or simply sit back and enjoy the relaxed vibe and listen to some great music! This month, our fabulous and very popular Jazz Jam features none other than Nigel Price (Guitar). Nigel joined The James Taylor Quartet in 2004 but has also played with other Jazz & Funk greats such as Pee Wee Ellis, Dave O'Higgins and Acid Jazz Guru Chris Bangs. Shiftless Shuffle Jazz Dance is back by popular demand, at its new home East Village in Shoreditch.
Following our super successful re-launch bash in January, we're continuing by re-starting the Jazz Dance class with de Boss Perry at 2pm to help you with your moves, followed by the club session at 3pm. This month's DJs are Host Simon Mansell (Southport Weekender) who needs no introduction, as well as Guest DJ Mike "Buddhaboy"! Expect the usual Music of hard JazzFunk, Jazz, Latin, Brazilian and Fusion!

Perry Louis & JazzCotech Dancers at Grenoble Gospel Jazz Festival, France

This is an exciting project working with Voix Gospel-Jazz des Alpes as part of their Gospel Jazz Festival in Grenoble. Perry will spend the week working with Dancers and Musicians to create, choreograph and teach a specially commissioned piece which will be performed at the Grande Festival on Friday 2nd March. JazzCotech Dancers will join Perry for the Finale and the After Party to create "An Evening with Perry Louis" culminating in a JazzCotech Performance. http://sites.google.com/site/voixgospeljazz/partenaires-partners
